Subscription and trial period

Every new company gets 30 days of free trial; once it expires, write access is blocked until the platform administrator renews the subscription.

Every company registered in BillSync has a subscription status, visible to the platform’s super-admin and, indirectly, reflected in how the app behaves.

Statuses

  • 🆓 Trial period — the first 30 days after registration, full access, free of charge.
  • ✅ Active — the subscription is paid.
  • ⚠️ Past due — the subscription has expired; access will be blocked in a few days unless renewed.
  • 🚫 Blocked — the subscription hasn’t been paid; write functions (casier/admin) are unavailable.

What happens when blocked

If a company reaches the Blocked status, casiers and admins can no longer enter readings, expenses, or other records — any write action shows a message advising them to contact the platform administrator to renew. Owners (clients) aren’t affected: they can still see their balance and payment history.

Reminders

The company admin receives automatic notifications 7 days and 1 day before the trial period or subscription expires, in the language set in the bot. Renewing the subscription happens by contacting the platform administrator; once renewed, access is restored immediately.
